Our History

Vital Health Foods South Africa is a family company that was founded in 1947. Their products were developed in order to present consumers with Foods and Supplements that contained the vital nutrients lost through modern farming methods, food processing techniques and changing lifestyles.

Since its inception Vital has become a market leader in the health foods industry. The brand is committed to constantly improving and extending its product range in line with the latest scientific research, making healthier nutrition accessible, affordable, and as convenient as possible.

Vital’s manufacturing facility is a registered pharmaceutical plant called Vitalfarm. This plant is periodically audited by the Therapeutic Goods Administration of Australia (TGA). All products are produced and packed under the strictest Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) controls.
